The Pivot:
Pandemic-Related Status Updates

In response to the many twists and turns of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have created this temporary page on our website that you can check at any time to find the most up-to-date information about in-person programs at TBE.

updated May 19, 2022

TBE's current masking policy for all indoor programs and services is as follows:

  1. Community Level - Low: masks are optional
  2. Community Level - Medium: masks are encouraged
  3. Community Level - High: masks are required

Community Levels are determined by the CDC.

Shabbat Services

  • Friday night services will resume in person (with remote access via livestream on Youtube) on April 22.
  • Saturday morning services will continue to be in person with remote access via livestream on Youtube.

Morning Minyan

As of now, the current morning minyan schedule will remain unchanged.

Kadima Beth El

KBE will continue to be held in person, and follow TBE's wider mask and vaccine policy. All parents should have received an update email from Abby yesterday explaining this in greater detail, and are encouraged to contact her with any questions.

Food

  • Beginning April 22, we will resume offering an Oneg from 5-5:30pm on Fridays, prior to Kabbalat Shabbat services.
  • Kiddush after Shabbat morning services will resume April 16 (the first morning of Passover).
  • Sunday morning Schmooze and Schmear will resume on May 1. (For those who are not familiar, this is a bagel spread on Sunday mornings following morning minyan that is free and open to all.)

TBE Office Hours

TBE office hours will resume on Monday, April 25 and will be as follows: Tuesday-Thursday 10am-3pm. During this time, we will be at the synagogue and answering the phones. Here is how to reach us:
